Universities in countries like the USA, UK, Australia, and many others widely accept PTE Academic. This computer-based exam assesses real-life English proficiency in academic contexts. The test exposes students to various accents and academic language they commonly encounter at higher education institutions in English-speaking countries.

PTE Academic Test Structure

The test is completed in a single 2-hour session, divided into three timed sections with a 1-minute personal introduction at the beginning.

Test Scores

PTE Academic results are available online typically within 5 business days of taking the test. Test-takers can report their scores to an unlimited number of institutions for free. Selected institutions can access scores online within 48 hours.
